PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN BRIKET ARANG TEMPURUNG KELAPA PADA KELOMPOK PEMUDA KELURAHAN LEMPE

Abstract

This community service program focuses on educating residents of Lempe Village, Dampal Selatan sub-district, Toli-Toli Regency, by providing training on converting coconut shell waste into briquettes, which can serve as an alternative household fuel source and potentially generate additional income. The program includes three key activities: 1) A lecture/presentation on various types of agricultural and plantation waste that can be transformed into new and renewable energy sources for household use.2) A hands-on training session on producing briquettes using a briquette-making machine developed by the program, and 3) Ongoing mentoring for trained community groups to ensure they can continue to produce briquettes effectively, with the goal of enhancing household energy options and potentially boosting the local economy. The program's outcomes include the publication of results through scientific articles and online videos.
