Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of education by providing learning experiences for students to live in the community outside the campus, directly together with the community to identify potential and handle problems, so that it is expected to be able to develop the potential of the Village/Region and formulate solutions to problems in the Village. The theme of this KKN is Village Potential Development Through Community Empowerment Towards Independent Villages. In implementing this KKN, the methods we use include an emotional approach to build positive relationships with the community, a participatory approach that involves them in planning and decision making, counseling and group discussions to obtain input, and a periodic evaluation system to obtain feedback on the programs being run. With close collaboration between the Author and the community, each program implemented can have a positive and sustainable impact on Bobo Village, Palolo District. This activity not only enriches the Author's knowledge and skills, but also strengthens the social and cultural values that exist in the community.
